Sometimes called "y'alternative," Hunker Down is a driving acoustic bluegrass band that blends their respect for traditional sounds into "stewed swampgrass." Fans enjoy high-energy shows that lift the spirits both in the soul and in the glass. They were voted the best local band in Grand County in 2009.
